Celebrate Pride on Facebook

You might have seen many of your friends in your profile changing their profile photo to a rainbow colored photo. People in India might wonder what exactly this new rainbow profile photo is, unlike their counterparts in the US. Tremendous thrilled with the news of marriage equality, Facebook came up with this creative idea of a rainbow photo, which can be made with a single click if you wish to show your support.

Facebook has already created a fresh page “Celebrate Pride”, where you'll get your profile photo’s preview with an apparent rainbow cover. It also has an option to update this new picture as your profile pic with which Facebook will spontaneously update your profile photo.

In the meantime, Facebook isn't the only company pushing the boat out now. Just Google "gay marriage" and you'll get to see a heart shaped rainbow and various other similar artworks.

"Our country was founded on the promise that all people are created equal, and today we took another step towards achieving that promise. I’m so happy for all of my friends and everyone in our community who can finally celebrate their love and be recognized as equal couples under the law. We still have much more to do to achieve full equality for everyone in our community, but we are moving in the right direction." Zuckerberg wrote.
