So finally for the first time in my life I presented my work in an IEEE conference and all the hard work bore fruit in the end.
Before I even left for Mathura where the International Conference on Communication Control & Intelligent Systems (CCIS 2015) was held at the GLA University, I was filled with nervousness all inside me. It was the first time I was going to present something in front of highly learned and experienced chair and crowd.
On the conference day as I was waiting for my chance to come up, all I could think of was; everything other than my presentation stuffs. All of a sudden, the organizer came up to me and told me that I will have to present next, that would be hardly five minutes from then.
I went up, got ready with the presentation, clipped the tie mic and was ready to start. Introducing the paper, I started off with a full flow directly looking at the chair and his co. just the way I used to do the presentation during my college days.
I noticed a PIN drop silence which was not the case when others presented. Gradually, I finished the presentation and no one from from the chair had any questions. Finally, he asked the crowd if they had any query to which one of them raised a question. And I was like, why in the hell did you have a question in your mind? Fortunately, it was a very simple question and I answered it very well explaining it with the best of my ability.
As there were no more questions raised, the chair then commented "Leo has done a very good work and this is one of those few research work with very good efforts made to achieve the results".
Hearing this I was on the seventh, oops sorry forty ninth cloud something that I had expected the least of...
Ultimately, I would like to thank each and every one who has been a part of this project. I would also like to thank the university staff, specially the organizing staff and the student organizers as you guys have been wonderful and super supportive. Also not to forget the students who were well prepared with everything just to help us out with various things and for the university people for the wonderful hospitality.
Nothing could be as cool as having been presented the research paper in an IEEE and having this in hand.
