Show your solidarity with Paris by adding a Facebook profile filter

Facebook has been very quick enough to come up with tools to help out its users in events like the Paris attack that happened yesterday. Facebook has come up with its own tool to help users alert their near and dear ones including their friends and family about their safety.

Facebook has also now come up with a tool for everyone around the world to show their support by adding a French flag filter over their profile photos.

This is very similar to the one that they had come up with during for the digital India and also when the same sex marriage became legal in the United States.

These filters can also have a expiry time of – one hour, one day, a week or more according to what you like.

You can add the Facebook profile filter by visiting this page.
