I
remember way back when I was a just a kid. I was asked by someone what I wanted
to become? And I answered that I wanted to be an “Engineer” not even knowing
what does an engineer actually do?
It
so coincidently happened to be that I saw a small kid who was apparently asked
the same question and he replied that he would love being an “Actor” or
anything that would fetch him a job in the film industry. Who wouldn’t want to
be one among the stars being adored and worshiped??? Not so surprised even I
had nurtured the dream of playing the guitar and be someone who is associated
with the film industry… just like any other kid. Remembering that kid who actually changed the
way of thinking life what it is, most of them might just say that it is just a
kid who doesn’t even know what he is saying and that he might change his
sentence in some years. Haven’t we all been there in that particular stage of
like? Even we were like them, doing what first came to the mind without even
thinking of it anymore was fun and focus living a kids life was above all. But I
still feel that the kid might be super intelligent to say that ya he wants to
be something in life.
Living
a manually machined life of either becoming an engineering or a doctor doesn’t
come out well for most of us as there are many forced into such a field where
they won’t’ even understand a bit of this stream.
This
is when I remember that kid by what he said do what you love doing. In the normal daily life we tent to hid our
really “WE” inside ourselves as a shadow of something that be try to become
instead of what we actually are. Why not
do something that you actually like doing i.e. what you actually are??? I think that is why some of the western
countries excel in many forms of life be it the technology, art, social life etc...
They actually do something that they want to do and not what they are forced to
do. It is natural that you would give your 100% to what you like that what you
don’t like.
This
finally brings to me to the end with self-made my motto do whatever you want to
do in life excel in it and live life king size.
