A hell lot of confusion starts erupting these days with elections just a fortnight away, the question of whom should we vote come haunting us, bringing us back to the time, to do our bit of homework like those school going kids before deciding our choice of candidate after having a detailed introspection about him/her, with the hardest possible criteria set. This is because of the many corrupt repeating politicians across the country, standing up from various constituency, and the other hell lot of wanna be politicians, who are actually actors, doctors, engineers, criminals, fraudsters, gamblers and what not.
There is always a confusion of whom should we vote? There is this Election Commission advertising & encouraging the aam janta to come up & vote while on the other side we have these corrupt candidates. Its like, we toh have become sandwich in between all these neta's or say the parties they represent & our ideology. Chalo, forget all this now, if for instance we do not go to vote there would always be this 'aatma within us' haunting us for not turning up to vote if some wrong person wins.
These days even the media persons have no limit of what they broadcast, nor do they have the sense of the foul language that they are showing so freely being used by the janta. We believe that our children learn faster thats been showed on the televisions, and imagine the plight of their parents when they come to know their wards picking up these things easily from the news channels. The other day one of my friends showed me an old video taken from youtube of Lalu Prasad saying his speech in the parliament and everyone around enjoying to what he is saying. You all must have seen the proceedings of the parliament, how freely those neta's are sitting and yawning ans some even sleeping. And when the time for to say in front of the media how easily they throw abuses on the other person with impunity. I have nothing against anybody but yes we all have seen this and have ignored all this to make it a part of our life. There isn't any decency followed by our leaders in their speeches the best example is Narendra Modi the wanna be PM who jeered Sonia Gandhi 'maut ke saudagar' in 2007, Arvind Kejriwal – AK49 and also described him as a Pakistani agent just to name a few.
Imagine him going to a videshi land after becoming the PM and calling someone there by these kinds of humors names. Although the US govt. was not in any mood to give a visa to him so I suppose if he names Obama in a similar fashion as he named Sonia Gandhi and Arvind Kejriwal.
This election we see many from the Bollywood industry also coming up to fight elections. How do we relate them with all this. Paresh Rawal had been given a ticket from Ahmedabad East and there was a big commotion within the party. There is Gul Pang saying her rival Kirron Kher at 60 is too old to contest while she meets her voters on jogs or on cycle. Seems like these actors are trying to bring in some action filled elections this year.
Why do we elect any of these kinds of people to rule the country? Are they truly need for this country to go on? Say for example we count the good things they have done for the country, can we sit down and count them all? I don't think so.
After all this game of politicians is so very interestingly getting worse day by day I ve got a better option to choose the option given by the Election Commission – 'None of the above' instead of choosing one particular candidate or by not going to vote.
